Ryan has built his practice serving as corporate counsel to a wide array of businesses.  Ryan prides himself on being his clients’ first call and works to provide valuable insight and guidance for his business clients on a wide array of matters.  Within that purview, Ryan assists his clients with formation, corporate governance, debt and equity financing, commercial contracting, employment matters, acquisitions and dispositions.

Ryan has developed a progressive corporate and company entity maintenance practice. His unique and attentive program has assisted numerous clients in growing their businesses and maintaining a system that benefits the company and the company’s stakeholders, creditors, and employees. He has successfully worked through comprehensive and difficult issues of formation, finance, and project development, all while assisting to maintain the right working environment for the client.

In addition to his corporate practice, Ryan regularly represents his business clients and has developed a successful business litigation track record, effectively litigating complex business disputes, contract disputes, and various business claims arising out of fraud, embezzlement, trademark infringement and enforcement of non-compete agreements.

Ryan also practices at the intersection of transactional law and litigation—serving as counsel to court-appointed receivers and representing a wide array of creditors and interested parties in receivership proceedings. Ryan is named to the Superior Court panel of receivers and diligently serves in this capacity at the direction of both the Rhode Island Superior Court and local Municipal Housing Courts.
