Prior to joining Savage Law Partners, Oscar served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Christopher K. Smith, the Honorable Shannon Signore, and the Honorable Joanna Achille of the Rhode Island Superior Court. There, he drafted bench memoranda and proposed decisions on a broad range of complex civil matters. His judicial experience also includes judicial internships with the Honorable Maureen Walsh of the Massachusetts Appeals Court, the Honorable Katie Rayburn of the Massachusetts Superior Court, and the Clerk for the Commonwealth of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. Each experience provided him with a unique perspective on judicial decision-making at both the trial and appellate levels.

Before attending law school, Oscar worked in-house at Granite Telecommunications, a leading national telecommunications company, where he negotiated commercial agreements with Fortune 20 and Fortune 100 companies, advised executive leadership on contractual and operational matters, and resolved complex commercial disputes. His experience in both the courtroom and the corporate environment enables him to provide clients with practical, business-focused legal counsel.

Oscar earned his Juris Doctor from New England Law | Boston, where he served as Business Managing Editor of the New England Law Review. He graduated on the Dean’s List each semester and received the Sandra Day O’Connor Full Scholarship. Following law school, Oscar served as an Adjunct Professor of Law, teaching Advanced Legal Writing and advocacy skills to law students. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from California State University, Chico, where he was a member of the men’s lacrosse team.
