David graduated magna cum laude from Roger Williams University School of Law. During law school, Dave received CALI awards for the highest grade in Civil Procedure; Criminal Law; Contracts; Property Law; and Professional Responsibility. He would go on to serve as a Teaching Assistant for the Criminal Law; Contracts; and Professional Responsibility classes. While at Roger Williams, Dave also served as an extern to Chief Justice Paul. A. Suttell of the Rhode Island Supreme Court. Additionally, he served as a research assistant for Professor Louise E. Teitz and Professor Tanya J. Monestier. Throughout law school Dave worked for several law offices in Rhode Island, including the City of Providence Law Department.
