Ava represents her clients in a wide array of litigation and pre-litigation disputes, with an emphasis on business and commercial matters.  In addition, Ava regularly assists her clients in administrative and regulatory matters in areas including healthcare, employment, and energy law.   Prior to joining the firm, Ava served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Sarah Taft-Carter of the Rhode Island Superior Court.

Ava graduated, magna cum laude, from Penn State Law, where she gained experience advocating in federal courts, including in briefing submitted to the United States Supreme Court, as a member of the Civil Rights Appellate Clinic. She also published articles on developments in the field of arbitration and alternative dispute resolution as a senior editor on the Penn State Arbitration Law Review. For her excellence in oral advocacy, Ava was inducted into the Order of the Barristers and earned CALI awards in Federal Court Practice and Clinic.

Ava is a life-long Rhode Islander and is a proud alumna of Roanoke College, magna cum laude, and Classical High School.
